Reunited with an Old Love by chance…

I fell in love with mosaic art and mosaic tiles back in (Syria) in 1996. However, my career in civil engineering and the ever-changing currents of life kept us apart for over two decades.

Then, in 2019, the currents changed direction, separating me from my career and bringing me back to my old love. I felt settled in Australia, and started making mosaic art for fun, along with completing a few commissions, when a wave rose up from the ocean of life to carry me away again. I had to sell my personal stock of mosaic tiles, but because no-one wanted to buy a bulk lot, I decided to retail them.

They were high quality tiles, and people were very happy to buy them at semi-wholesale prices. So the current changed again, this time keeping me in place. I decided to give up my career as a project manager and civil engineer and follow my passion.

So it all started with a couple of thousand tiles packaged and sent from our dining room. Then I expand my stock and I moved to the laundry. Now I occupy most of the driveway with a huge range of beautiful tiles for sale.

I have a strong belief in what I’m doing, and a very big vision. One day, SyMosaic will be the # 1 mosaic source in Australia, and will spread internationally, all with your support.
