I fell in love with mosaic art and mosaic tiles back in (Syria) in 1996. However, my career in civil engineering and the ever-changing currents of life kept us apart for over two decades. Then, in 2019, the currents changed direction, separating me from my career and bringing me back to my old love. I felt settled in Australia, and started making mosaic art for fun, along with completing a few commissions, when a wave rose up from the ocean of life to carry me away again.

I love the novelty of these tiles. I am working on a large glow-in-the-dark mosaic with a Harry Potter theme (think deer....) The are a good price, excellent quality and cut easily. I have been sneaking in a kilogram with every order I have placed recently to add to my stash!
It is always a pleasure doing business with SyMosaics. All items I have purchased over the years have been fabulous quality. I love that I can buy by weight, it makes it cheaper for the larger projects I like working on. My orders are often packed and posted the same day I place them and arrive within a day or two at my front door. Everything is well wrapped and arrives safe and sound (not that it matters if things break - I am a mosaic artist after all!).
I love these irregular shapes for large projects. They don't require cutting but if I do need to cut them to get them to fit, they cut beautifully with my wheel nippers. They are my go-to for large solid colour areas.
